NAVARATHRI CELEBRATION AT THE TEMPLE OF THE UNIVERSAL SPIRIT, THE PURE LIFE SOCIETY, Thursday, 25 September, 2014 to Friday, 3 October, 2014

 

 

The Temple of Universal Spirit of the Pure Life Society will be celebrating Navarathri (a nine-day affair of fasting and praying). The celebration will feature a Golu and dedication of art forms such as Bharata Natya, devotional songs and handicraft by the children, staff and other interested parties as a love offering to the Supreme Perennial Creative Source of Divine Energy, revealing ITSELF in its many aspects personified as the All Supreme Mother (Parasakti ) (God, the Mother).

 

The daily programme commencing on Thursday, September 25, 2014 and finishing on Friday, October 3, 2014 is given here below:-

 

7.00 p.m.      Devotional Songs

 

8.00 p.m.      Dedication (Bharata Natyam, Music and singing by children)

 

8.30 p.m.      Pooja and Aarti

 

8.45 p.m.      Distribution of Prasad (special food-contributed by devotees each day

 

Those wishing to contribute towards the daily Prasad may make prior arrangements with the Pure Life Society's administration.

 

You are cordially invited to come and participate actively in this religious festival of songs and dance. Please take time off to come with your family.  Your presence will be a source of inspiration to the children as well as all other participants.
